Christmas in July Toy & Donation Drive

Regardless of age or reason for treatment, all children benefit from the therapeutic nature of toys, and the hours of entertainment and distraction they provide while in the hospital.

Toy donations drop during the summer, that’s why Wolfson Children’s celebrates Christmas in July to help raise funds and to restock it's toy closet, playrooms and teen room with age-appropriate toys and other activities to help our patients smile.

This year, there are four easy ways to give! 

1. Donate online at ChristmasJuly.com. It’s easy, secure and only takes a few minutes to make a tax deductible gift. 

2. Shop on Amazon! Our Child Life department has curated a list of the most needed toys, and they’ll ship right to the hospital! Go to Amazon’s baby registry and search Wolfson Children’s Hospital or click here: bit.ly/WolfsonRegistry. *If you're using Smile.Amazon.com be sure to select Wolfson Children's as your charity of choice to give back every time you shop on Amazon!

3. Start a Facebook Fundraiser. This new tool helps you spread the word to your network of friends and family so they can easily donate to Christmas in July, too! *For companies, it’s a great way to create a “virtual toy bin” that employees and customers can donate to. Go to facebook.com/WolfsonChildren/fundraisers to get started. 

4. Handpick your own items and drop them off. The best toys are ones that keep kids busy, and are easy to clean. Some of the toys that bring the biggest smiles are infant and toddler toys, Legos for all ages, card and board games and electronics such as iPads.
