We're officially about to end a YEAR of community cocina -- and we're going to go out with a bang! This month's dish of choice is rocoto relleno, which is a dish consisting of (non-spicy) peppers stuffed with ground beef, cheese, and rice -- basically, everything good in one place! These stuffed peppers are a signature dish of Peru, and we hope you'll love making and eating them with us!

There is no cost for this event -- it's all free! Please RSVP to make sure we get a headcount and make space for you to attend. If you are unable to attend after RSVPing, please notify us so food is not wasted and someone else can get the opportunity to participate.

NOTE: This dish is made with beef and cheese normally -- if you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know! We can always cook a variant using substituted ingredients so you can enjoy the food too.

Location:QLatinx is committed to providing accessible programming to individuals with varying needs. Should you have specific restrictions related to participating in this course please do not hesitate to contact our team via email at cocina@qlatinx.org.

Community Cocina is a program developed and run by QLatinx that highlights Latin cuisine and its importance in day-to-day life, identity, and heritage. It aims to preserve the recipes and cultural wisdom shared between generations and share it with a larger audience. Humans are interconnected in so many ways, and breaking bread is an ages-old tradition that strengthens our bonds and teaches us more about ourselves and others.
