Join us for a day of painting/drawing en plein air.  This will be a fun, casual day of creating art together in the great outdoors. There will be no instruction as this is not a class or workshop.  All mediums are welcome. 

What is Plein Air? 

“En plein air” means “in the open air” and refers to painting or drawing landscapes and other outdoor features in the natural light. 

Suggested Items to Bring: 

• Medium of Choice - oils, acrylics, pastel, gouache, markers, charcoal, pencil, finger paints... whatever your heart desires
  
• Substrate to work on - painting panels, paper, etc
  
• Accessories and tools for your medium - brushes, water
  cups, sharpeners, compositional aids, etc
  
• Light weight easel, backing board or sketch book
  
• Small bag for trash - carry out what you bring in please
  
• Lunch,snacks,drinks
  
• Sunscreen and bug spray
  
• Hat with brim
  
• Rain jacket
  
• Rags or paper towels
  
• Umbrella or sunshade - optional
  
• Chair, stool, sit-upon - optional
  
• Portable table - optional
