About this event

Who: Women of Cartersville First and the Cartersville community---Sign up in order for us to know how many women we are expecting and to provide drinks for you at our picnic. There will be a sign-up table at the church on June 27th and July 11th.

What: This will be a day for women to rejuvenate as they enjoy the outdoors, fellowship with other women, experience inspiration, and explore the shops and eating establishments of Blue Ridge, GA.

Where: Toccoa Valley Family Campground , Blue Ridge, GA

When: Saturday, July 17, 2021

What: The day begins at 7:30am with ladies meeting at the parking lot of Cartersville First Baptist to car pool together to the destination. We will leave by 8:00am in order to arrive by 10:00am to be among the first to float. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy at the pavillion on the premises. We will provide water for everyone. While enjoying lunch at the pavillioin on the premises, there will be a time of inspiration. Women will then travel the 12 miles back into Blue Ridge to explore shops, dining, or other aspects of the Blue Ridge area at their own pace.

Costs: $10.00 per tube rental, best to reserve a tube ahead of time and show proof to save time when you arrive

Rafts may be rented for $60.00 for a 4-person raft; $80.00 for a 6-person raft

Kayaks may be rented for $40.00 for one or two person kayaks

$10.00 charge for each kayak or canoe of your own that you bring

ONLY TUBES CAN BE RESERVED ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME. ALL OTHER FLOAT DEVICES WILL BE PAID FOR ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT THE PREMISES. IF YOU PAY US AT THE SIGN UP TABLES ON JUNE 27TH AND JULY 11TH, WE WILL HELP YOU RESERVE YOUR TUBES ONLINE OR ELSE YOU MAY PAY FOR THEM IN-PERSON WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE CAMPGROUND..

2. Everyone is required to fill out a waiver which is online to participate in the float. Complete it and print it out before going to save time when we arrive. We will also have some available at our sign up tables on June 27th and July 11th.
3. Everyone must wear a life jacket when they float--the campground's or your own.
4. There are bathhouses available in which women may change.
5. Transportation back to the campground is provided for you and the float, kayak, rafts, etc. that you may have used.
