All right, so I am going to try to officially start losing weight by working out at home. I'm not sure if I should try the Kathy Ireland or 30 Day Shred. If those ever become not enough, I may consider the gym or hiking at Lake Hodges. Weight loss could be fun, I hope. Starting weight: 255 lbs Goal weight: 150 I've been really disappointed with myself over how I look with the extra weight tacked on. My face has bloated like a toad, my stomach looks like I'm expecting triplets, and my legs are like as wide two human torsos. I hope that any amount of weight loss will help. Buena suerte a todos!

Yes, I agree that weight loss should be fun. I would love to be able to join in hiking at Lake Hodges. Those days were so fun. In fact, the days in which we were active always seem the most fun looking back -- even when working out itself seems like such a tedious thing to do. Somehow, it always ends up being the funnest time. Not while you're doing it, of course -- you want to die while you're doing it lol -- but nothing beats that post workout-high. And your reasons for weight loss could also be exactly mine. I also feel like my face is ballooned, I'm expecting triplets and my legs are quite beefy. But all things considered, I think we're still not hideous-looking? Just Pooh-sized? lol Anyway, thank you for being the First club-member (that's not me) in turning your assignment. lol And I wish you the best of luck with this latest journey. It will be successful. NOTHING can stop you once you get going. :)

PS: If I can suggest starting out with Kathy Ireland? It's a tried-and-true method that's the perfect way to ease back into it, while still being challenging. That way Matriarch (and hopefully Rafita) can join in as well. Pushing each other and working out together is always the most fun, I think?
