DIANA'S FAVORITE SCENE 1: Rose's Display of Portraits As She Is Beginning to Drift Off to Sleep: As if watching the TITANIC sink in full-detail wasn't devastating enough -- this scene, to me, delivers that final gut punch. But it is hopeful and beautiful. In this scene we get a glimpse of Rose's life post-TITANIC disaster and obviously, post-Jack Dawson. You gather quite a bit of information from this brief panning shot. It shows us that: 1: First and foremost, she kept her promise to Jack that she 'wouldn't ever let go.' She didn't allow this horrifying disaster to dictate the rest of her life. She went on to live a full, purposeful life FULL OF ADVENTURE! 2: She actually did become an actress. There's a deleted scene where Rose talks to Jack about becoming a feature-film actress, and she did JUST THAT! 3: She definitely did go to that Santa Monica pier and ride a horse with both legs on each side. She probably drank beer until she...well, threw up! LONG STORY SHORT: She lived her life to her FULLEST EXTENT and now she is an old lady, warm in her bed -- ready to go. She has already shared her deepest secrets and her life-story with others for posterity. Her life's mission is now complete. But most importantly: She made Each Day Count.

This was very sad. The picture of her riding the horse is the only one that stood out to me in the movie, that was so sad.

Yes, incredibly sad (a GUT PUNCH), but at the same time, quite hopeful because the tragedy motivated her even further to make each day count. And yep! The one with the roller coaster and the horse at the Santa Monica pier was also the one that stood out to me, as well. But the others reveal very interesting info, too: She wasn't just crocheting around at home -- she went out and learned how to fish! (Look at the size of that marlin!) And if that weren't cool enough -- she learned how to PILOT A PLANE. I think it's quite inspiring! :D
