Hello! I'm happy to say that after some reflection, consideration and also some conversation with Geni -- we have decided that it is worth it to keep this Club and its original intention open. I experienced a couple of days recently in which my motivation was running out of steam and I really, really wanted to come here and find some much-needed support. It felt pretty sucky to know that due to this little Club being in a 'limbo' sort of state, I couldn't really access that support. MyFitnessPal can only do so much... This started out as a 'family affair' but, even if just Geni and I participate -- that's OK. Even if just ONE PERSON motivates you -- that motivation is still gold! It's about QUALITY and NOT QUANTITY. So, everything is business as usual. I apologize for the drams and the confusion. We shall proceed to commit to our Weekly Friday Check-ins, to our Biggest Loser contest, to our Monthly Weigh-Ins. It's all still happening! I'm using this Barbie workout image in honor of the Barbie movie that Alex and I will be seeing tomorrow. It looks like it might be cute and/or entertaining! Nothing wrong with a bit of fluff. :)

Yay! One person support is plenty. Remember before when we went to Chuze and worked out? Or back in the Petco days where we were both skinny thin over dieting at the same time? It's possible! How was the Barbie movie??

Yes - - the sisters working out and calorie-counting has always proven to be a formula that works! :) There is a physical distance now - - but we can still motivate each other, hold each other accountable and cheer each other on from here (and MFP) as well! Just as before. The Barbie movie was?visually appealing but the story was a bit lacking. It tried to convey a message of collaboration and understanding between the sexes (or something like that?) but, it was a bit all over the place. There was no clear takeaway message. The visuals were fun but due to lack of story - - I would wait for this one to be released on streaming.
