Guys, I made the blurb (back of the book for The Scorching POV I'm writing. Wings of Fire: The Legend of The Scorching All terror comes to an end eventually, and new ones replace it. Lifetimes before the time of Darkstalker, an unimaginable amount of time before the Dragonet Prophecy, scavengers were in the tens of thousands, and most dragons were either solo or with a partner. No tribes. No big groups. No major civilizations. With scavengers stealing many minor treasures from dragons, small amounts of gold and gems, and even some bigger things, most dragons didn't care that much. But when a scavenger stole a whole dragon egg from the wrong dragon, Pyrriah went on a rampage of bitter rage and assembled an army to overcome the scavengers and burn them out for the rest of time. After finding out of the idea of burning out all the scavengers, another dragon who was another victim of scavenger theft, allied with Pyrriah to finally end the scavenger robbery and recover stolen goods. When two ancient dragons team up to take back territory and treasure from scavengers face issues when fighting against them, they resort to drastic measures of terror and fire, lots of fire, gathering an army to kill the scavengers, need more power to take over. They burned the entire continent out of scavengers ending their species.
